Personally I think it depends on where you live. I live in the middle of bumfuck, New England so the only options are boomer furniture outlets that sell those sets, or IKEA. So therefore online is usually a good option
I recommend Article, Hay, CB2, and West Elm. Urban Outfitters has nice rugs, pillows and other accessories and decor, but I wouldn't trust a lot of their furniture due to a lot of bad reviews I've read
IKEA is okay for some things, I like their dining furniture personally
