Didn't want to make a new post in this thread, I guess this is jewelry general now.

I always wear a necklace with a charm underneath my clothing. It's just stainless steel, currently, but I'd like to invest into precious metals just because I have the money for it now.

Only question is if it should be gold or silver. I'd prefer gold, because it has more value, but have no intention to show off and would rather avoid questions. Would silver be a better option, or should I just say "fuck it" and get a gold necklace?
