I've loved my Timbs. Been wearing them reasonably regularly for a couple of years now and apart from some colour fading and some minimal ware on the sole, they are holding up great. Best part about them is when is pissing down and the streets flood with water, you can just walk on through and not have to go through the ridiculous hopscotch routine that everyone else has to go through trying to keep their sneakers dry.

I'd say stay the same. Like you I am a 29 in N&F and while I don't own a pair of Acne Max Cash, I tried on a friend's size 29 pair and if fit perfectly.
Denim does tend to stretch though so if you're worried it will be too loose, sizing down won't hurt.
