Well that's good that you have shelves already. They seem a little overloaded right now though so consider having wider shelves along that area of wall so you can have more negative space between things?

With these small angular spaces you have to own the shape and make it into a feature.

The thing I find most distracting is the lighter coloured beams running around the walls. They draw my eye right away.
