Both of the companies have been bought by people that have no relation at all to the original owners yet the companies seem to put a lot of emphasis on their rich histories.

Also they're sketchy as fuck. For example laco renames basic miyota movements into something else to trick uninformed consumers into thinking that they're using in-house movements. See pic related.

Stowa uses chinese parts yet the owner gave a non-answer and was defensive as fuck. He has yet to admit that he ordered parts from china, only admitted that the source was from outside germany. I mean look at his answer and tell me this isn't sketchy

Really? He's saying that chinese made cases are better than the ones made in Germany? He should just admit that they did that to cut down some costs.
