In high school up until I got my first real gf I had only ever received one IRL compliment from a girl on my appearance, saying I was cute when I was dressed up for a presentation. After getting my ex I then received a wide range of compliments from her, calling me every positive adjective under the sun.
Now I've been called it all. Cute, handsome, beautiful, sexy, perfect, some chick even told me I'm one of the most attractive guys at my college, but she just really wanted my dick. Also been called "strange looking" (although it was meant to be a compliment) and unique.
I've become too spoiled with compliments from girls I'm romantically involved with. It's always nice to be called gorgeous by a girl who had her tongue down your throat, but if she's hooking up with me I would hope she finds me attractive. It always means a lot more when I get a compliment from a girl (or anyone) I'm not hooking up with, because it's unexpected and unwarranted.
Tbh the biggest compliments for me are when people call me cool. Having a girl tell you you're "so cool" or that they're intimidated by you because they think you're somehow too cool for them is an amazing feeling, especially when you see yourself as a massive dork.
