The greatest goal/value would be self-affirmation via optimization of one's body aesthetics for proactive ends and the resulting mutual appreciation among similarly healthy people that would arise from this, though as an end to be realized and pursued in itself down to its implicit ontological concerns would require self(spiritual)-awareness, which is why it is usually attained unselfconsciously and temporarily with superfluous affirmation from others and its expedient ends serving as the carrot on the stick stimulus. Currently it is commonplace for the latter to be degenerated/extremified to the point of hypertrophy, malnourishment and other persisting decadent values.
