If no one has told you, you look great. I at one point lost 80 pounds and got into a similar mindset of needing to lose more, but no. Fat-wise, your body is at the bare minimum it needs to operate, and you look good. Seriously focus on gaining some muscle though, it'll help round out your shape in a good way and make you feel so much healthier and better about yourself. Never be ashamed, it took a lot to get to where you are now.

It's weird, because my weight has been fluctuating like hell recently and I'm omega broke at the moment, so I've literally been stuck between like two or three outfits/different shirts everyday. I'm really trying to get my weight back down again, because like I said, it's something I've struggled with all my life. But I really don't want to drop a ton of money on oversized clothing and then turn around and have to buy better-fitting shit. I'm also 6'5", so everything designed for people my height is super goddamn expensive.

I do a lot of things regardless whether I enjoy it or not.
The thing with clothing is that I have lost countless amounts of time and money hunting for garments I'd like to wear but even then nothing I buy ever turns out quite right. The things I'd like to wear are out of style now and I wouldn't be able to find them in anywhere but specialist places with massive markups.

You're right about just ripping the stitching out, but I thought if you cut the garment improperly it wouldn't be able to fit you again? I also need someone to take my measurements for me.

I plan on starting simple, just underwear or ties and move on to shirts in more 'unique' cuts and even more complex projects over time. The fabric I bought was an Indian white cotton so I can also dye that in any color I want. After I have mastered creating many different kinds of shirts and pants is probably when I will move on to something like a coat.

I seem to do a lot more talkinf about what I 'can' do rather than actually doing it. I should be watching tutorials right now!

If I get good at it I will definitely post them here. :)

Is it worth it investing in an overlock machine? I hear it's essential for those who are serious about making garments AND it saves a lot of time. Anons have also said that learning to hem by hand is also an essential skill.

I ordered 25 yards of cotton fabric and a used Janome Jem Gold 660 (I need the smaller machine because I will be traveling) The machine didn't come yet but I'm eatch tutorials on how to use them. I'm so scared of making mistakes. :(

I found these at an op shop and they’re in great condition, but I’m not sure when I’d ever wear them.
