if we're nitpicking, the iris only contains yellow-brown-black pigments (melanin and phenomelanin), blue irises appear as such due to selective absorption and reflection between biological molecules in the eyes. There's a boatload of other phenomena in play here, too, but the tl;dr-version is: Your eyes appear to be different colors because there's no "fixed" color when it comes to the blue, gray, green-colored eyes. Outside light, the vascularity of your eyes, etc also contribute on a day-to-day basis.

>>10027897

Not exactly true, even ignoring eye trauma (surgery, like you said, being a possible whatstheword catalyst), since the iris pigmentation consisting of melanin/phenomelanin your eyes actually get tan. Puberty and stuff also often changes the color of your eyes noticeably.

:V obligatory "i'm drunk as shit"-excuse in case i'm wrong lol

These? Not really my thing, loving the orange tees/tunics though. The metallic accents are a nice touch imo.

First glance, but this is really bringing home a lot of concepts from, say, FAUN that I wanted to like but didn't really get me going! I'm going to need to check it out when I'm not on mobile but I'm probably going to stock up on pic related in every single colorway I get me grubby hands on.

Okay, I'm willing to bet that your split ends have split ends so either lop off a cm or two or do a "search and destroy", hunting for any shitty strands and fairy knots to kill. Fairy knots are those tiny, tiny knots you find every now and then, which are basically naturally forming drawers full of old electrical cords - and just like tangled cords, the best way to deal with these is to get your sharpest pair of scissors and just fuck their shit up.
When this is done, put some coconut oil and whatever other oils in a glass jar, lower it into a pot of water and heat it on the stove. No microwave you impatient shitlord. Just before the water boils, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool for a bit.

Do NOT pour this on your head before checking on your wrist, unless you're planning on wearing a deep fried beret made out of your own fucking scalp for summer.

It should be warm but not uncomfortably so. When the temperatures is right, squat parallel, dip your fingers in it and massages it into your scalp in circular motions - this feels so fucking good so I suggest you have a drink or smoke a joint beforehand for nothing short of an orgasmic experience - eventually covering every single strand of hair. I usually dip the tips of my hair directly in the jar like a brush, letting them soak completely.

..And now you wrap that shit up in a warm towel and let it soak. Minimum 20 minutes, preferably overnight. When you're done, use your new, good shampoo to get it out, condition and detangle with the comb while the conditioner is in, rinse it out.

When you're done in the shower, drop some oil (a little goes a long way) in your palms, rub em together and comb that shit through your hair, once again covering the tips.

..and you're done! ööööÖÖÖ! Shampoo like once a week, condition as often as you like, detangle in the shower, eat well, sleep well, drink loads of water and enjoy your new routine.

Repeat the hot oil treatment every other week.

Things to keep in mind:
There are a couple of things constantly at war with luscious locks - heat, sharp edges, coarse and absorbent materials, the Aryan Brotherhood, etc.

>If you use a blow drier, get a diffuser and some heat protecting spray (or simply avocado oil, which can even be used before straightening your hair).

>If you wear it up, get elastic bands without those metal closures. I prefer those big hair claws (as pictured) since any elastic I put in my hair might as well be Velcro dipped in glue, but each to their own.

> In regards to abrasive materials, I strongly suggest you get satin bed sheets and pillow cases and/or a satin/silk sleeping cap, but I've never managed to keep something on my head while gyrating like an angry crocodile for 8 hours.
The same applies to coarse wool beanies and scarves, as well as coats which can wear down and dry out your tips, if that's not an incentive to drape yourself in silk and baby alpaca I don’t know what is!!!

>report and hide pigfuck’s posts and threads and pray to Old Ones they get removed fast enough so the thread hasn’t completely derailed to the point where we all have to watch a grown man talk about weaponized soy beans giving gynecomastia to The White Man, instead of fucking shampoo.

Here's how to save your hair:

Buy these things:

Wide toothed seamless comb - Brand and material doesn't really matter, as long as it's hand carved, seamless and with no sharp edges.

I use the Detangling comb from Mason Pearson, managed to snap it in half after a couple of years, but after sending a polite email to customer support explaining my situation they sent me a new one free of charge. Mason Pearson products are expensive as hell, but basically the best of the best and should last you a lifetime if properly cared for.

Sulphate free shampoo and matching conditioner - I suggest you either go for the more expensive brands OR some super gentle stuff made for babies. "Best" brand would be Aveda, I'll make a second post listing some different brands and stuff. Thing is, you'll shampoo so rarely one of the 1L bottles, while expensive as shit, should last you long so long it'll even out in the end.

Conditioner is worse, since you'll be using it as your primary weapon so to speak. Just keep em hidden if you have company, people tend to go nuts when they find expensive hair care products in a shower.

Hair moisturizer - There are specific products for this, but I just buy big bottles of argan oil and macadamia nut oil, mix some together in a small glass bottle with a dropper and add just a tiny amount of castor oil to the mixture. For me, this has the best price/quality/quantity-ratio, but if ya find something that works for you, go ahead.

Optional but recommended: Hot oil treatment every couple of weeks. If I'm going to be a bit blunt, both of you seem to have hair that's dry as shit and looking like you've got a wig made out of dry straw and dead twigs is not a good look. Google "hot oil treatment" for info on what oil does what, but the base is coconut oil, so that's a must. Olive, argan, linseed etc all have different qualities, so read up.

Are you saying old DH were more simplistic than current SLP? Everything SLP puts out right now are less elaborate versions of older Dior pieces, which is exactly why people call Hedi a hack/one trick pony/sell out and what not. While every successful designer have to deal with some "emerging talent" making knock offs to mooch off of the hype, Hedi is actually doing it to himself.

I'm not trying to tell you what to like or not to like, do you, but if you're going to be giving advice to people you should probably 1) educate yourself a bit more about the subject and 2) develop your eye/sense of style/whatever you want to call it.

"no-make up"-make up is actually very easy to do. buy a powder that matches your skintone (mac studio fix is very good), a buffer brush (should be wide, short and dense. "best" would probably be any expensive Dior, etc, but as long as it's goat hair you'll be fine) and apply it by pressing the powder into your face and then brushing off the excess.

4 dl sugar
0.5 dl water
1 dl lemonjuice

bring to a boil then immediately lower the heat and stir until golden brown. cut strips out of a fine, woven non-stretchy cotton, bedsheets or similar works.

test on your arm or whatever, dab some on and tear it off - if the wax doesn't come off, add some more water, if the wax comes off but not the hair, add more sugar.

there, DIY, basically doesn't cost a thing and gentle on your skin.

Make sure youre clean beforehand, avoid showering for 24 hours afterwards, gently epilate the skin to avoid ingrown strands, etc.

store the wax in a mason jar in the fridge and just reheat in a microwave or by submerging the jar in boiling water whenever you want to use it.

honestly while i do think it's fun that this thread exists, the "guide" should have been left out because, well, it is severely lacking and only really applicable to skinny white teenage boys and completely reliant on a slightly feminine face. Could it be called androgynous? Yeah, sure, but what makes up traditional masculine/feminine clothing? In a historical setting and in recent years? Across various cultures?
