Buy a special make-up from Brick + Mortar, Ealdwine, or Leffot. Alden puts more effort into them and my experience is those retailers will also check them before they go out. I’m at 10 pairs now and have never had an issue. I’ve had worse luck with C&J.

I have a similar hairline. You have 3 options.

1. Slick it back (no undercut or fade) with an emphasis on keeping length at the front. This will weigh it down and look flatter against your head.

2. Grow it out and part it at the center so your temples are covered.

3. If one of your temples is lower than the other, comb it over to cover the side that's higher.

Wait so there's nothing you can do to grow back what you've lost short of a transplant? What about Min?

t. Norwood 2 at 28 but likely won't lose more than that

I'm here to ask about belts, as it's a part of my closet that's lacking. Most belts I see look very boring. Is the only place I can expect to find interesting belts from popular designers? How much should a good, genuine belt cost without markup? I want to get a good idea of what a base price should be and where I should look. Feel free to post belt inspo.

If you like apple, Macaque Fuji Apple, or Beaver takes it a bit clean floral to my nose.

Bon Monsieur or Fougère L'Aube are both clean/green, Champs Lunaires for floral.

Alfiryn by Pineward smells like liquid fabric softener in a very natural and yet uncanny way. It’s not at all in the notes but I get the same thing from Ponderosa.

Phtaloblue is also infamous for being the most synthetically smelling “clean” scent out there, but it’s smack dab in the uncanny valley of “clean” scents.

i cant speak from experience what a decent silk pillowcase is worth but you have to consider the cost per use. you use a pillow literally every fucking night for 8 hours, nearly 1/3 of your life. if theres something worth spending plenty of money on, its bedding.
and considering that, think about the quality of the material. sure you can probably find 100% silk for much cheaper. but it will be using lower quality threads which will degrade quicker and feel less soft. and it could be thinner and just have generally worse construction. you get what you pay for! i know it fucking sucks having to shell out so much money in this era of rapid inflation but its true
