Those are pullout sleeves with thumb holes btw. I had to try and tuck them back in since they are far too warm inside and made my hands sweaty. Actually the angle does affect the way the jeans hit the boots, they look thicker in the pic but thats because it's just showing a stack a little ways up from the beginning of the boot. There is no stack sitting on the top of the boot in reality.
