Common Projects? If they're out of your budget, Stan Smiths are another nice white sneaker. I wouldn't really recommend Vans.

What if they're DESERT boots? Deserts tend to be hot and dry, and so do summers.

No, I mean the "pretending to have to wear glasses and keeping up a facade" thing

If you want to wear glasses even if you don't need them, that's not your problem, it's everyone elses. Why lie about yourself?

That's what's insecure. You don't even dare to tell people the truth about things you like to wear.

I've been to a lot of places, but not Stockholm or Copenhagen yet. They certainly seem like beautiful cities.

Normcore wasn't coined by /fa/. It's actually a mainstream thing.

Recommendations? I sleep in either those or Target t-shirts (which actually fit really good) lol.

>>9359282
I'm not saying you shouldn't. Of course we should aspire to make the most of our lives. My original argument to >>9359203 was simply that "rags to riches" is for the most part, a fairy tale, and wearing t-shirts with holes won't do much to change that. But if wearing old clothes keeps you motivated, I don't see why you should stop wearing them then.

What do you mean by good? It's insulated with polyester, so it will keep you warmer than you would be without it. The arms can be kind of big if your arms are skinny. If you mean if it looks good, then it's your own opinion, and you seem to like it. Why don't you go to a store and try one on?

Key word: statistically. Your parents and uncles are exceptions. Statistical outliers.

You can't really believe that all the people out there working working two minimum wage jobs will one day make it into the upper class, do you?

Wouldn't # of reps or weight or laps you've run or whatever be a better indicator of performance? Sweat is just a side effect.

I do some bodyweight shit every other day and go to the Y with my friends on Saturdays, but you're right, I probably could step up my game. BTW that Flex watch thing is really cool.

Sure, but the American dream is BS just to get workers to keep working min wage jobs in the hopes of a car and white picket fence and being able to pay off your mortgage and all that.

Intragenerational mobility in the United States is among the lowest in the developed world.

In layman's terms, if you're American, you're going to stay in the same socioeconomic class you were born in unless you're an exception. And statistically, you're not.

Sounds like fun (actually)

I guess you aren't >>9359058 or >>9359070 though, because it doesn't really make sense to spend $1000 on a single night out if you're limited to that kind of budget? Forgive my ignorance if I'm wrong.

They aren't as sweaty and gross
They're more breathable
They can sometimes be lighter/more flexible

These are all objective advantages to gym wear. They are facts.

Again, if you don't care about them, that's fine. Just remember that there is a market for them for a reason, and that reason is not primarily to show off new clothes at the gym.

>If you are an actual athlete you are paid to wear sportswear by your sponsors.

>actual athlete

That's your opinion. It's not a fact. Try again.
