This really depends on the model. But as a rule of thumb I would say Adidas are more durable than Vans (not that durability makes any difference to me). Most Vans used vulcanized mid-soles that are either heat welded or glues on and peel over time. The gum soles they use are also pretty soft.

To answer the question, yes, sometimes I do go out without shoes on. I have problems with circulation and wearing shoes can add to those, especially when my feet are swollen. I like to wear shoes though because they make me feel more normal and protect my toes from bumping into shit.

I have wavy hair naturally, but always wear it straight. I have trouble with the top near the roots staying straight though. I've been using Moroccan oil and it helps alot, but I think a good iron might help.
