Sky Ferreira, a young, up and coming pop musician.

She has some cool music, and recently released her first full-length album. She's popular with the tumblr crowd, mainly because she works as both a musician and model. Personally, I think she's infinitely more interesting than Lorde or Marina and the Diamonds.

Honestly? I'm happy for everyone who can afford nicer stuff, and I encourage people to pursue expressing themselves through their clothes, but I also recognize that I'm just a kid working retail and paying for college out of pocket.

So I don't care that I can't afford super fancy stuff. I'm working my best to make due with what I can, and appreciating that which I cannot obtain. It's all fun for me.

Honestly? I feel like black skinnies would fit better with either Doc Martins or some cool high top sneakers.

But then again, I'm a bit biased because I always associate CDBs with a more rustic, heritage look, and I don't really picture black skinnies fitting in with that stuff.
