i'm not shitting on Veilance, they're a great company with great products. but the whole "function vs. fashion" thing isn't something worth arguing about in my opinion. yes, you can call buckles and zippers "unnecessary" if you like. but what the hell is experimentation in fashion then? if you don't like cyber goth because neon and goggles and leather don't appeal to you then fine. but the way in which you dismiss a whole subculture because "it looks too much like animu" seems so bitter
