That's a varsity/baseball jacket. I mean, it even has sporty varsity-sequel stripes knit right into the ribbed trim.

Given that you have Barney's, Union, H. Lorenzo, and Satorialoft to name a few, it's definitely being worn. Given the heat, doubtful it's worn in heavy full looks, but it's all around you. Also, if you don't associate with people who have that taste/lifestyle/budger, it's easy to imagine why you don't see/notice it. It'd be like me saying I don't see guys wearing hand-tailored suits in SF, but I don't have any friends in finance, venture capital, wealth management, or law, so it'd be ridiculous to extrapolate and say that the tailored customer doesn't exist.

Like don't love. I'd rather wear stuff with alternative closures than pumps.

Given the huge numbers of brands and stores that carry that style, I have to assume this is asked facetiously.

Except for when you find the originals that they copied.

"Now"? Zara's "Dark" collection has been out for a while. Also, anytime you see a knit sleeve or knit panel on a jacket (particularly women's), it's almost certainly drawn from how Rick does it. I grant that this is definitely a but more explicit, but these elements have always been filtering down from ready-to-wear for years, it's just that you only recently know what to look for.

Pretty crappy copy of the various versions that Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy versions that have been done. The plate doesn't line up perfectly and doesn't even appear to be flush. Also, the effect works much better on the low, lace-up brogues that the originals used than this work boot silhouette. The whole idea is to apply an industrial, tough vibe to a shoe that usually lacks it. Here, there isn't the interesting juxtaposition that makes the design work.

Neither are great (the fake raglan sleeve is kind of silly), but green has at least a little more character from the color.

That's cheetah print, not leopard.
