Here is my opinion. Urban slim = straight cut. They look bagy as hell on me, 484 =skinny. They look pretty ok on me. Go to a store and try on the 484 and see how the fit, if they are a bit snug, check out the new 770 cut. It is a mix of the slim straight and the 484. For a lot of guys the slim straight was good in the thigh, but huge in the opening, and the 484 was to tight in the thigh. This cuts the difference.

I always roll my pants once, it depends on what your personal style is/what kind of shoes you are wearing.

WARNING: J. Crew denim has about an inch of give in the waist, so when shopping go for snug in denim. The chino is pretty stable though, it gives but nothing crazy. I have heard though that after a year or so of washing sometimes the bowery can shrink up a bit.

sieg heil your post does not make much of any sense. What about j. crew, levis or lvc in terms of quality? They are more water resistant then regular jeans, they have what they are calling a "NanoSphere" coating, so water pills off of it. Also just checked out outlier pants, they are twice as much, I just ordered my commuter jeans for 66 (with coupon), outliers star at about 98, and go up to 225. The U lock holder is pretty useless though, i put mine either in my backpack, or in by belt.

am I the only one who thinks it looks nice, but 148 sounds a bit steep. I feel like I could find a similar bag from EMS for like 60 and it would have all those good features.

Also the inside sean on the leg is 3m reflective. Plus they are water resistant.

I figured I would start with the standard rigid wash, and see how the feel. I bike everyday, and blew the croch out of my last pair of jeans.

Just ordered a pair of Levis Commuter jeans, anyone have any experience with them? I know a couple people who own them, and they said nothing but good things.

I found american crew's pomade did not have enough hold to give a textured look like what op is looking for. I use grooming cream, which is high hold, high shine. That might work a bit better.

i am like 90% sure this is a pic from J. Crew. So if so they are either Red Wings, or Chippewa. I am pretty sure they are Chippewa though.

For casual shirts I have just given up on them being long enough. I just roll em sleeves up. There is one option costume shirts. Hear me out, it can be expensive...but there is a website called http://itailor.com which I have heard good things about. The only problem is it takes a bit of time to be made, and I have heard the first shirt is always a little off. But once you figure out your measurements its all good.

This doesn't work really. Mediums the arms don't get lengthened, and larges have to much fabric to be tailored correctly. Best bet is ordering a medium tall online and seeing what can be done.

I have not gotten the jet color. But I can say that the rigid fades a bunch after about 7 months. I would assume it would be the same for the jet color. Just don't wash em for as long as you can.

For me it does. Also the stretch helps. I have found that when a pair of pants goes from 32-33 the whole leg changes. Were as a 31-32 it will be very similar.

I have never really had a big problem with my levis stretching that much. Keep in mind a pair of levis from jc penny vs ones from a levis stores are different. I usually get mine from their website/store. How old were your jeans op?

I usually size down one size from sneaks for my boots (12 in nike = 11 in redwing&chippewa). Also try going for a moc toe boot if you are afraid of them looking like "clown shoes".

They are updated rigid. I am more of a 32 waist, I size up in 510s. I used to wear 511's, but I found 510's sized up a bit are much more comfortable. I think its the fabric having a bit of stretch. Also I am 6'3, so it all looks fine.

It is a vintage wind up off of ebay, cost me about 4 bucks. The bands you can just find on amazon (mine was from j. crew).

Not to sure about Britain, but I just got mine from a department store for like 20 USD back in high school. Don't really care that much about designer wallets and stuff.

Not really worth it, I don't think they are that bad. I think after a month or so of wear they will get a bit dirty and look nicer.

would have preferred the all white, but they were still full price. They were a bit of a compromise purchase, but like I said I just needed a cheap pair of comfy beaters.
