From my little knowledge of amadei's work, I believe the construction is better in carpe diem. Depending on your shoe size you can find carpe for relatively cheap. However, if you have a shoe size bigger than 10 it'll be more difficult finding carpe in ok condition for less than 600$. Most people try to charge 1K. I think people tend to like carpe more too because of its connotation with earlier amadei. Perhaps his work was fresher at that point.

nah man blackmeans x labrat stuff will go for 600 max on y!jp or rakuten. Honestly you could get 2nd hand rick, julius and blackmeans for around 600 if you look hard enough. If you want a perfecto, I highly recommend Undercover. I have an undercover perfecto and its one of my favorite jackets

Personally, I would pass. you can get better quality leathers for 600$ that are more elegantly designed imo. This one is much too loud for me and I feel like the extra padding looks very cheap. But if you are diggin it more power to ya!

You could always try an androgynous look. A lot of garments from Rick Owens work for males or females. Additionally, you could try some Yohji or Commes garments that emphasize a loose, elegant silhouette.

If you browse y!jp enough and rak you might find some Julius Engineer boots for 300$ which imo are much better looking than the ones you are looking at. There are also variants with ripple soles like in the shoes you posted.

man that lookbook is so great. EG - and a lot of japanese designers in general - do a really great job of creating such compelling looks and brand personas if that makes sense.

Get them cheap from y!jp and have your proxy underdeclare the value so you don't get hit with customs fees.
