They make shitty weapons, but you can cut a lot of annoying shit like zip ties. If you're going camping, they can come in handy for opening cans, cutting ropes etc. Or if someone is dying and you need to cut off their clothes to give first aid or something.. IDK

I guess there are not many practical everyday uses, but they're a "just in case" kind of thing.

Went to IB schools for most of my life, right now at an alright public school

It didn't affect my sense of fashion but I feel very grateful that my parents gave me the opportunity growing up to have a quality education and be able to meet people from all over the world.
