Mum thinks I dress well but thinks I spend way too much. I try and hide new pieces because it always leads to her ranting about consumerism and how wasteful I am. She once brought up the topic of underpaid workers and how I am supporting slave labor which is a little ironic seeing as I usually buy American Apparel for basics and she buys K-Mart, a company with a notorious human rights record.

Dad doesn't care at all but he seems to approve of my black timbs. He doesn't like any of my tight fitting stuff though. Thinks I look gay (which to be totally honest, I often do)

I have a job and pay for all of my clothes myself though so I don't see what the big deal is. It's my money and I spend it how I like.

I would never run in this. I ride in it during the colder months but I'm never riding that far. I have a backpack when I ride so if I get to hot I can just take the NF off and shove it in there.
I don't really see the point in buying fashionable running gear or gym gear. I wear Lowes shorts and a Kmart tee to the gym with some battered freeruns that I bought second hand for $20.

I don't cycle very far and I don't for a second consider myself a cyclist ahaha. Usually to friends houses or to the train/tram station. It does get kind of hot sometimes but as I said above, I can just take layers off. Good fit for when it's raining though.

I've been pretty happy with it so far. Held up well and not too hot which is a big thing for me because I'm often riding in it and Australia is always warm. Had it for about a year and no signs of wear.

Pants are elastic cuff chinos from Grand Scheme (Australian brand). They look good when they're clean and they are comfortable as hell but they get covered in lint and crap so quickly. I don't wear them out to parties anymore because if I sit on a couch my pants turn grey. Do not cop. Go for something else.

Shoes are all black Air Max 1s.
I like AM1s so no complaints.

It's a nice material though. It's satin and has a similar texture to the windbreaker I'm wearing so they complement each other nicely. I think saying that it "ruins the fit" is a little bit of an over reaction.
