those 'waves' are called tight grain creasing versus loose grain creasing which is the shitty kind that you see on cheap or poorly clicked boots. Get Beckmans instead of iron rangers. the iron ranger sole will make you fall on your ass, while the beckman sole is a bit better. and make sure you wipe the salt off of your boots otherwise that will fuck them up.

bean boots are good for all kinds of weather, sturdy as fuck. if you can rock the aesthetic they're nice.

The reason why good jeans are made with long inseams is because the denim is expensive as fuck to make, so making them in a variety of inseam lengths causes lots of wasted material. It's cheaper for them to make them all in one inseam length.
