Use plenty of conditioner. It gets wirey it gets bad.

brush it sometimes, excessive brushing is hard on it.

don't use a flat-iron without heat protection (my hair is fricked cause of that)

don't dye it yourself, just don't.

don't use regular mens shampoo (use something unisex like redken) ((you'll have to dig deeper into your pocket for hair care in general))
