Don't regret it, it won't help get your back. Accept you made a dumb decision, and remember how spooked you felt next time you feel like doing it. Everyone's hair is different in terms of growth, but for me it takes around 3-5 months to have a decent length of hair, and around 7-8 months before it's actually what I would consider long.

I agree with this. Being a women is a disadvantage, people don't take you seriously, your job options are limited due to the rate in which that career option hires more men than women, women's fashion is way too expensive (compared to men's), you have to wear make-up and try extra hard to be the median.

Being a women would sucks, and I'm glad to be a male skeleton where I'm free to do whatever I want.
