they're called knee bags. it's impossible to prevent them unless you have straight cut jeans.

GOAT in terms of cheap, comfortable chinos. Of course they probably aren't as good as some other chinos out there but I like them a lot.

>>8701544
momotaro. definitely momotaro.

you should sew or tape whatever thing you chose on the inside of your back pocket so it doesn't move around

nice if you're a poorfag. i hate how they are always vulnerable to water because of the way they're constructed. I have a pair but i'm throwing them away once my chevalier captoe MTO boots come in.

personally I can definitely see how this has affected my life. It all started with the first pair of unbranded raws i bought, now 7 months later i've basically replaced my entire wardrobe with better looking and better fitting clothes.

thoughts?

okay. honest question. why the fuck do those shoes have that ugly as furry layer between the upper and the outsole? what the fuck is that?

from a purely aesthetic standpoint, cone mills denim is *usually* much more uniform than Japanese denim, with less irregularities like slub and nep. Personally I and many others prefer japanese denim for this reason, but Japanese denim is no better or worse than american denim.

>>8693982
they are raw, but they're just okay. you can get better jeans for the same price from other brands.

I guess because people ask me a lot of questions and i feel the need to try to find some sort of answer to them even if i don't know exactly. I guess in the future i'll say "idk" more instead of giving potentially dubious info.

>>8690228
they look gaudy as fuck imo. but if you like it then more power to you

if you only soak them, not wash them, in cold water, so they don't shrink all the way, they may still be comfortable. that's the beauty of unsanforized denim, you can loosely control how much they shrink by managing the temperature of the wash/soak and the duration and level of agitation.

>> No.8690153 [View]

>>8689978
they'll probably end up shrinking too much and become uncomfortable. exchange them for a size larger, and then when you get the new pair, soak them in the hottest water you can find to shrink them down to similar measurements to the pair you have now.

>>8690075
if you want them to stack properly, you might want to iron them out flat and then put them on. that should allow the natural stacks to form as you wear them.

Yes. PBJs are like that

>>8689641
levis commuters are coated in teflon or some other hydrophobic compound that makes liquids slide right off of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kax68AGEvBc they are also a stretch fabric for easier movement. I'm not sure if they last longer than regular levis though.

>>8689660
definitely not worth 100usd imo

>>8689762
the 15.5cm is only a slightly more tapered version of the PNS by about half an inch. the 19cm is literally a carbon copy of the PS. look up the measurements if you don't believe me.

as far as construction and hardware I can't comment on those because I don't have a pair of either of them.

>>8689805
hand wash them or soak them about once a month or so. that will make sure that indigo dye is regularly removed from the denim, creating low contrast fades instead of high contrast ones. that doesn't affect the durability of them, and in fact will make them stronger because the minimal shrinkage from soaks and washes strengthens the cotton fibers and removes abrasive dirt particles.

from a purely functional standpoint, because they last longer than the jeans you would get from american eagle.

from an aesthetic one, because they are made with better materials, uniquely conform to your body, and can end up looking really fucking cool after a bit of wear. pic related, these are the PBJ XX-012s which have an insanely slubby fabric and an indigo-dyed weft.

>>8685224
as far as i know the 'monster' doesn't mean anything special, it's just a cool name they added to it. 16.5oz is not exceptionally heavy denim, but most denim is 14.5oz or less.

you can get surgery to get rid of the excess skin. I advise you to lose weight, but not because you might not fit into jeans, but because it's really bad for your health and shortens your lifespan. being fat isn't just un-/fa/, it's also really dangerous. if you've done it before, you can do it again.

if you insist on not trying to lose weight, look at this I guess. if you can figure out your thigh measurement, put that in and press search.

http://scout.rawrdenim.com/denim?utf8=%E2%9C%93&min_price=0&max_price=500&waist=36&sanforized=none&selvedge=none&min_denim_weight=5&max_denim_weight=32

>>8681675
they just updated their website, and I have no reason to doubt the accuracy of their measurements. their stock of PBJs may have different measurements from the stock that blue owl has.
>>8683262
the lighter the denim, the less rigid the denim is. less rigid denim fades slower. if you're doing lots of activity on the ranch in your denim they will wear out faster. I suggest getting a second pair and rotating between the two to prolong the life of both pairs.

>> No.8681649 [View]

>>8681320
PBJ is definitely superior. their fabric is more slubby and neppy and has more character. Other than the denim itself being a bit different the differences between the two aren't very different. If you'd rather have two pairs go with the JBs. However if you go on denimio.com the price of the PBJs and JBs is much cheaper than anywhere else on the internet and they offer free shipping. Japan Blues will be about $120 and PBJs about $220.

>>8681350
they should be doing another run of these either this month or next

ok. they won't shrink much in the wash. i say 1.5in or 2in.

are they unsanforized or sanforized? if they're sanforized they'll only shrink about a quarter to a half inch. what is your natural inseam, and what is the current inseam of your jawnz?

find a pair that fits your thighs and get them tailored, imo
