criticism is good and i mean to offend you less than i feel offended, but i think you have me and my plans wrong. i never said what my style exactly is, i just made it clear that it was and although i said its space related, and i guessed at what style i thought would come on strong next. every reference you made to'it' was a shot in the dark. i never said exactly whst my influences were and when id originally thought of 'it', it was quite a while before id acknowledged recent space related media trend. not only that, but shiny white and sleek are miles away from my 'style'. which is why i mentioned that being unable to afford designer wouldnt limit my plans. its not my direction, neither is the trend. they only correlate because its a space/future theme.

as for naming this- whatever it is, that was simply for the sake of fun and creativity, as well as possibly labeling it so that threads could be accurately labeled. what it ends up being called by the market doesnt concern me. i wouldnt say im naive, but i dont aim to get anything out of this or claim anything for myself. im just excited about fashion for a change and i want to explore and have fun.
those shoes i posted are impressive to me, but they dont fit my idea, i just wanted to post some patent/metallic pieces.

well my original style plans werent actually astronaut, its more like a subgenre of astronaut culture. i never really revealed it. i just needed/fa/s thoughts on space in general.
my original plans accommodate being poor very well. now this has come full circle.
the challenge now is to execute in a way that pronounces 'space' without heing drowned by the other element.
space poor astronaut? nice ripoff right there.

i still need $700 shoes tho.

i think less than two people actually answered my original question about there own style, but i guess i only asked to see what people would think of the style im trying to get into
this whole thread turned out better than i thought it would. not a single negative comment about space style? from such a pretentious and critical board? damn.

too soon to settle on something?
(not a fan of future tech, doesnt designate space as an influence)

poet, didnt think about this until just now but your constant retro space Odyssey images have probably impacted this direction im taking in some subliminal way.
that and i made this thread while watching the alien quadrilogy. so much damn inspo from those movies.
ripleys got a nice watch in one scene. i need it.

im going to make space threads from now on. i dont hate gothninja but this is just better.
