Whats that?
You didnt hear that the Consumer Products Safety Commission is actively working towards implementing a ban on all tablesaws which dont have SawStops AIM mechanism installed?
They dont have to ask anyone, they have full control to implement it overnight if they wanted to.

Didnt you hear that one of SawStops key patents ran out, but they got a 3 year extension on it? And now that they only have 36 more months till its dead dead, they are pushing the feds for the ban again?

Dont forget they have over 150 other patents in which they are planning to browbeat and license other saw manufacturers with, even if one of the key patents is dead.

Buy your saws now, the commision freely admits in their paper that low end jobsite saws will be going up $300-700 due to licensing and hardware, with cabinet saws going up over $1000.

Have a read

https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2023/11/01/2023-23898/safety-standard-addressing-blade-contact-injuries-on-table-saws
(the original deadline was jan 2, but they extended it and are still actively talking about it)

Ya I am going to try it with an old Samsung 24" LCD monitor where the circuit board died. Might have to do some 3D printing. The biggest issue is figuring out how to convert the screen connector from its ribbon strip to a VGA \DVI\HDMI or Display port. I know they make them for like dell aio's and laptops. It would be tough though for me to make my own adapter, I am not THAT good in electronics really.

Basically if there are any DIY people that are making all in one cases that can fit mini itx boards. I kind of thought I should have posted it at /g/ but was thinking that it might be a DIY thing so thought I might as well ask.

I would really like to build a custom built all in one using mini ITX or thin ITX. The Mono-All-in-One by Quiet` PC looks perfect. but | cannot for the life of me find any for sale, used or new or any retailer or manufacturer that makes them. Makes me sad......

I don’t want to bottle it.
I just want to drink it asap.
Best and more affordable way?

I love the taste of Stella Artois, it's too expensive to buy.

/diy/,

I'm stepping up my insulation game. My garage door, and the ceiling above my garage have been insulated. The largest remaining heat source I have in my garage is my natural gas, dryer. It has a steel tube which extends into the attic (and subsequently pipes out of the roof) to make sure all unburnt gas can escape freely.

Has anyone built an insulated box around an appliance before? I'd like to build a simple box which would consist of 2x4's and 1.5" thick foam insulation and incapsulate my dryer entirely. The control board has already been severed and extended. I image containing the escaping heat would improve the dryer itself, and keep the garage cooler. Am I missing something?

Jejejejeje this Halloween. And stay alive in case they drop your vote if you're dead by the recounts in 'some' states. Nuff said. No shilling!

Enjoy your passing out of candy safely in a way so simple, youd look retarded NOT to throw it together ya brainlet. Just mark a fuckin line with chalk or tape and you wont even need to be there. Might want to tape up your knuckles up first…

Anyone know a good way to cast epoxy into a convex shape? I'm new to working with epoxy resin in general, and youtube hasn't been much help when it comes to dealing with anything that isn't flat or jewelry. Hoping to achieve the same rough shape and depth, just slightly wider, of one of those long narrow rectangular serving dishes. Like like 30"x14" or something like that.

Hard mode - how could color it similar to pic related

I used to work for a guy who mods and sells containers. I can get a nice used 40 footer for about $3500k, and 20 footers for $2k, delivery included. Three of those in an U shape, maybe an extra container on the outside or on top, and you can finish that shit for 50-60k. (Canadian)

Mortgage of like 75-85k at most. Pay that shit off in 10 years, sell it 10-15 years after that when I move into a cushy old-folks gamer home when I'll finally catch up on the Simpsons, hopefully, before I fucking die.

Sounds pretty win to me.

Pic related, would slightly modify.
