I feel ya. My cheap ass Jew neighbor decided to plant bamboo a couple years ago and the house right behind him and/or the power company has to chop the shit down every 6mos because it flies right up into everything and that lazy fuck and his two sons in their 20s who live at home don’t do shit, they sit inside all day everyday.

Also on the fence we share, he has this big beautiful traveler’s palm and a big pine/fir tree and these vine weeds that take over everything are basically suffocating both trees. They creep over the fence to my side so I have to go out there with the weed whacker and hedge trimmer and fuck up the weeds I can get to (but they have some oil that itches and burns for a few hours after) and then assault them with a heavy Roundup stream. I can’t get them all so I have to do this like once a month, especially since they try to jump from the pine tree onto the utility wires running to my house. They’re going to take over those trees one day and kill them. The pine tree is like 2/3 covered and only the top 1/3 gets sun.

>moves in, talks about how he used to have some million dollar plus house on the intercoastal a couple blocks away
>claims he wanted to downsize
>gets 3 bedroom house with two adult kids living at home
He’s a shitty real estate agent.

He also has sprinklers that work, but Jews don’t think they should pay for water so i have seen them on once or twice in two years and his front yard is half sandy ant hills so I need to make a heavy barrier of that any killer lawn spread shit.

Which Leatherman did you have? The only real option for a main EDC Leatherman is the Wave. Any cons you list against Leatherman don’t really apply to that one, just the giant ass things which would be like complaining that the Victorinox giant we all ogled as kids isn’t as comfy in your hand as a small fixed blade with proper scales.

That’s the same with any high power corded device. If you’re running a corded sawzall in the backyard through some xmas light extension cord, it will be starving for power.

Easy route is to grab the cord when you’re running it hard. If your extension cord is getting warm, time for a bigger gauge.

You already know that even the best probably won’t do better than ~80%. If he is right on one thing, there needs fo be some standard rating or test that is independently certified on compressors and torque wrenches and carries a UL stamp or some shit next to the ratings from reputable brands. So if you get a 12.0CFM @ 40psi compressor or 800ft-lb impact wrench or any other tool, you can buy the one with __ stamp and be assured it’s +/-10% of the rating or you can buy the Harbor Freight model without the stamp and have no fucking clue what to expect. Imagine if you bought a breakfast cereal with 5g of sugars but it’s really tasty and then a couple years later the doc tells you about the diabeetus because your breakfast contained 80g of sugar per serving... the FDA wouldn’t be happy.

Makes me want to go to Northern Tool right now and get one of those Northstars. I was looking at the ratings and they’re like the same as the HF bullshit, but it’s a real belt driven piston on top so I would imagine a 4CFM Northstar would rape a 4CFM Central Pneumatic

Did you buy the compressor off the floor at Home Depot? If so, the 3.8CFM compressor will not keep up with your 3.7CFM tool running continuously.

Real hardwired stationary compressors running off lots of phases and volts should be closer. But the consumer grade stuff is like the HF impact wrenches.

Those numbers are never realistic, that 11CFM must be @40psi or 60psi with 175psi max. If that’s 120V, it’s a grossly inflated number at a low pressure.

Sounds like it’s one of those ~50gal 220V weekend warrior compressors, but either way that would be sweet to have parked right outside the garage with air lines plumbed in. Anon can definitely run most normal air tools with it.

The Gerber Dimes are ok little tools. But that Paraframe everybody sells is so mediocre. The GF’s dad had one of those awhile back but didn’t bring it with him and was bummed because he used it all the time. Got him the Leatherman Wave and he was like a little kid on Christmas and he has the quality leather sheath on his belt whenever he leaves the house.

The bike has a 12V battery to start it, right? I kept blowing fuses using the cig lighter with my little air pump so I cut the plug off and put a couple battery clamps on there so now I hook it straight to the battery. Just make sure the bike is running when you do it because you will drain the thing really quick with those pumps.

Order online for in-store pickup. This works pretty well at Home Depot because they will kick out your order if th employees can’t find the thing within the next hour or two.

Walmart fucking blows though. The past couple times I ordered stuff from Walmart that was supposed to be “In Stock”, they tell me 6+ hours later that it’s out of stock and they will have it in a day or two, and then I try to cancel the order and it takes them a week to take the charge off my credit card.

>tfw Northern Tool guy was recently trying to apologize to a customer when they were missing individual socket and wrench sizes because some cocksucker stole hundreds of dollhairs worth of loose shit a week or two prior and now their inventory was totally fucked

Store employees hate assholes like you who ask 5 times “Are there any in the back?” If the employee goes to the back, 75% chance they’re bullshitting with a coworker for 10min and not actually looking for your stuff. Most big chain stores don’t keep shit in the back aside from certain big items and you’re an asshole if you look at the employee like they’re being lazy when they tell you they don’t have an entire 2nd store in back. It’s all truck to shelf these days and if there’s something in the back, it’s because they got a box of 20 and the shelf only holds 18 and nobody came in this morning to buy all 18 on the shelf.

Checked.

And I don’t agree with Wisconsin. It’s mostly the Minnesota people like Margie in Fargo.
