Since it taps instead of just twisting like a regular drill, it can provide more power and it doesn’t transfer all of that torque right back into your wrist.

Just use one and drive some heavy screws with it and then with a regular old drill and you will see that it’s a much nicer user experience aside from being a little louder.

They’re all ugly if you’re like AvE and have a boner for Hilti. The tools turn black with enough use.

And I like them so far, especially at the price point, but I would def be running Milwaukee if I were a mechanic because of their tool choice. M12 ratchets, M12 stubby impact in 1/4” hex and 3/8” square, then M18 high torque 1/2” and a mid torque 1/2” as well. You would be runnin circles around dem snappy bois.

I bought an orbital sander today for no real reason.

Ran into a similar problem and saw a video on this, but not sure how you would rig it up in your situation...

There’s 4 pins on the USB output, the two outer ones are for power 5V +/- and then the two inner pins are data pins. Supposedly if you short the two data pins, the power bank recognizes that something is plugged in and will give it power.

But in my situation I was confused because dude in video just tapped it quicklybto short the data pins. There’s no real power going through them so maybe it’s not a fire hazard. It was that Big Clive dude that /ohm/ loves.

The best option would be to go for pic related, but they’re both battery powered so you might have to step into the new millennium and accept that cordless tools are pretty good now.

None of the major companies have put any effort into their corded tools in the past 20 years. They want to sell you the newest and best cordless driver so you buy $200 worth of battieries for it, and then when you need a saw you come back to that same brand since you already have the charger and in a couple years you have $3000 worth of tools and batteries from one brand.

Anyway pic related are the new hydraulic impact drivers so they use a fluid coupling instead of a hammer and anvil mechanism. Supposedly the individual pulses aren’t as strong as a regular impact, but it’s a longer duration. So even if the raw torque numbers seem low compared to other drivers, they will drive screws just about as well but be much more quiet.

Also, earplugs. But fuck that, you have an excuse to buy new tools instead.

Oh and the best part is when you take them out and all the manlet Latin Rico Suave guys get so butthurt seeing a gringo with their finest women. All the good Latinas, they can’t stand the Latin player dudes and they hate little skinny gel slicked back hair fags. An American guy raised Catholic who is over 6ft tall with blue eyes and light hair and big shoulders and hands, it gets them wet. Change a flat tire for them and they start taking their panties off.

Lots of them are daddy’s girls so I think that I remind them of Papa mixed with the perfect American guy look. It suprised me too.

I will never own another GM product after having one Chebby where you couldn’t fold down the sun visor without wacking the rearview mirror and throwing it out of adjustment. If a company is that cheap and shitty that they wouldn’t source a different visor or mirror, what do you think they’re doing with the important parts?

So it’s an aquarium aerator hooked up to a tiny tank? Like I said, even that 3gal I bought has to start charging up again after a couple bursts with the little blow gun, and it needed to run quite a bit to put 10psi in some SUV tires (not even giant bro truck tires) and the one I got is 125psi while that HF is only 100psi.

Fuck me, I want to go buy a 30gal right now and a hose reel so I can mount that shit in my attic above the garage and have the reel hanging on the cieling. I’m still kinda regretting not buying a strong 6gal or 8gal, but then after buying that, I would regret not spending another $80 for the 18gal, and then another $100 on top of that for a powerful 30gal.

This is the way to go, right? Somebody mentioned that it’s possible to partially bypass it and run the AC and grow lights (for hydroponic oregano and parsley) off the bypassed power and then keep a handful of low energy things on the meter.

There was all sorts of speculation though like the power company can monitor the block and knows the total power and the meters should add up to that, but it sounds kinda ridiculous. If you ran a handful of power hungry appliances off the stolen electricity, but still left 30%-50% of your usage on the meter, how are they going to catch that out of 50 homes if they monitor a whole block? As long as you’re not running a server farm mining rig grow op, they would never see that shit.

Man, even a brad nailer seems like a little much. And for staples, possibly small gauge, but with upholstry and shit you always need to slam a couple dozen staples at a time.

Seriously it seems like very small hobby airbushing at <40psi would be the only thing it could handle.

Regular WD-40 isn’t even penetrating oil. It will probably creep a little but it’s an all around bullshit oil which means it doesn’t do any job as well as the proper product or tool. Pic related is the WD’s brand of actual penetrating oil, and I’m sure that is just about as good as Kroil. They have WD Silicone lube and stuff too if you want a real lubricant.

HF just put out these new compressors- 1gal and 2gal. What the fuck is the point of a 1gal compressor? I can’t think of anything besides cleaning cheetoh crumbs out of your keyboard and airbrushing the smallest miniature figurines. Even that shitty 3gal I got has to recharge a bunch to fill up SUV tires.

I think it’s better than WD-40 for that purpose because WD isn’t really a specialized penetrating oil. I have Liquid Wrench at home and then some generic Kimball Midwest that comes in boxes of a dozen from the place our fleet shop orders from. They left a full case out in the rain for a couple days so the labels were all messed up and cans looked like shit and they just tossed the thing in the dumpster so I grabbed a couple cans first. Still works fine if you don’t mind a waterlogged paper label.

Anyway all of the actual penetrating oils seemed to be real close, like +/- 10% torque required to remove the shit after it was used. So they will all either work, or they won’t, and it’s not worth buying the super expensive orange can if you go through a lot of it and are a cheap ass.

Canuck bullshit anonymous youtube guy did a test with a handful of those oils and the Kroil didn’t stand out against any of the others considering it costs like twice as much. There was some random goofy name one that did good.

But idk, his tests aren’t exactly scientific so you have to take everything he says with a grain of salt.

Jesus. Worst I ever had was some nigglett high school kids steal a case of Mountain Dew from my trailer.

Used to be way more sketchy when we dealt with cash. The corner stores in the hood would always pay in cash and they would pay in all small bills. So you gotta walk past 50 nogs chilling outside while carrying $1000 in ones and fives. But the only real robbery I remember from that time was an ex employee who stole a key to the safe, he found the truck parked at a store while the driver wasn’t in it and he opened up the safe and stole everything. But another guy from our company happened to be helping that driver and saw the ex employee there and was keeping an eye on him so his ass got turned in and arrested.

Ahh, yes I forgot about being able to piss anywhere I want to. That might be the #1 thing about being in the boonies. My father taught me that important lesson at a young age.

If I live old enough to retire, I’m def going to get the fuck away from people. By then the Amazon drones will be able to drop off all my Knipex pliers within 2 hours of ordering them so it won’t even matter.

Top right is when your kitchen has an east facing window and you’re at the sink in the morning and the sun is glaring off the chrome faucet. Bottom right is a boob.
