ive thought about this but propane is stored at like 120 psi and butane is only around 40 psi. the max rated pressure of a bic lighter is about 60 psi. i realize you could likely double that and be safe but the thought of a bic lighter full of propane blowing up in my hand seems to keep me from trying it. not to mention propane needs room to expand, seems like its just too easy for it to go horribly wrong.

gas can only enter via this route at the same rate it exits this route. so unless you sit there and hold it for a solid 45 minutes you're going to get disappointing results

having been pepper sprayed, and also having accidentally bear maced myself point blank in the nuts, i can say with 100 percent certainty that bear mace is on a whole other level than pepper spray. i didnt think it was even possible to feel that kind of pain. makes getting pepper sprayed sound like a fun afternoon.

i had a shower which just made it spread all over my legs. tried soap and water, made it worse. then i read its an oil so i tried acetone. did a little better. tried methyl hydrate, it was the same. finally i said fuck it and grabbed my pumper jug of brake clean and just hosed down my junk and legs for like 5 min and it finally must have rinsed it off because it was instantly better.

then the next day i wore the same underwear on accident. but i must have put them on backwards. had to go through the entire ordeal a second time except this time my ass was on fire.

people sometimes dont see eye to eye, don't take it so personal. it's a little silly to resort to unprofessionalism rather than just denying service and going about your day

they dont use airflow to increase or lower resistance because air is compressible so that wouldn't work very, too springy.

they use magnets and a flywheel. the energy the operator expends on the machine gets turned into waste heat via magnetic friction. the fans help keep it cool

ever encounter one of those couches with a bed that you can fold out from under the cushions. pretty well exactly the same thing here except instead of a couch its a box and instead of a bed its a lid

>You need a puller for this now when it used to be 3 or 4 3/8" bolts. There is no need for that at all.

a taper is a whole fuck of a lot easier to mass produce than 4 threaded holes

yea the whole using 3 different items trick works for all sorts of things. example, if you have one combo square and hold it against another combo square and they match perfect, they could be just totally perfectly opposite so they look square. add a third square into the equation and its impossible for them to be anything other than perfectly square if they all fit one another

the grooves are a must for big plates because if the swarf has nowhere to go it will make a high spot which means a low spot somewhere else, and you'll never get a flat surface

if it were me i would cut the grooves with an angle grinder and zipcut. unless i had a mill.
