You ever heard of Myriad Genetics, there the guys trying to protect a patent on cancer genes they discovered. Well a while back they spun off a research division called Myrexis that ran out of work about three years ago and was sitting mothballed paying rent on a $100m building until the board of directors decided to liquidate and return the hundreds of millions in capital back to investors. And that's where I came in.

The company used to employ 200 researchers and I bought every bit of glassware they had along with quite a bit of other equipment.

When you purchase shipping through ebay you not only get a discount but if they are holding your payments you can choose to pay for shipping after your money is released.

Keep in mind that ebay takes a pretty decent cut out of what you sell. In November my average transaction was $600 and my fees where about 7%. In January my average sale was $130 and the fees where closer to 11%. If you sell allot of cheap stuff and you use addons to your listing your fees may be as high as 19%.

With out buyers there is no selling.

Amazon can be worse, they keep some peoples money hostage for 90 days sometimes.

When you build up a trackrecord of being a reputable seller ebay will remove the delay in payments. You are also allowed to accept payment in other forms, such as a check.

Become a merchant. Find bank auctions, buy shit and sell it on ebay.

It takes allot of time to do this right. Finding shit that will move at a known price is and knowing what to bid and when to walk away are paramount.

Also monocryistalin are normal only chosen when you have limited space. You should also be aware that the power output on monocrystalline drops more significantly when the temperature rises than poly or other technologies like CIGS.

That inverter is fine if you want just a panel of two but if you really want to go off grid I would recommend the Outback Flexmax 80 (no I'm not selling them, they are just a really good charge controller I have had lots of experience with)

LOL, I'll sell you new, completed flexible 118w solar panels for less than $1/w.

I have some flexible 118w solar panels that just need wires soldered onto them for $0.75/w

I have some Solyndra panels with broken segments for $0.50/w, Soyindra panels are cool because if a segment breaks the panels continues to produce full voltage just 1/40th less power for each segment that breaks.

One thing I've researched for a few months is squatting to own. Things differ from state to state but in Utah you have several things to do, and you gotta do it right or your wasting your time.

Find an abandoned property who owners are not paying taxes, preferably owned by a defunct investment company. Utah and probably most states publishes a list of parcels who are delinquent in property taxes, you can also find properties auctioned off for back taxes. Find entities that are currently delinquent and have previous properties auctioned off by the state. Try to go for something that no one even knows exists. Property whose owners have died and the hers are unaware of may be a good target but I would feel bad about doing that.

So here are the rest of the steps.

In Utah you must first posses the property, meaning your using it like you own it. You have to improve the property like installing fences. Your presence must be obvious ie the camouflaged bunker wont count. Your presence must be 'hostile' not meaning your fighting with anyone but rather that you don't pay rent or have permission to be there, the owner simply ignoring you totally counts though. YOU have to pay the property tax!! And in Utah you have to be able to prove you've done all of this continually for seven years. Then file a little paper work and the property is yours.

The owner can come along any time and foul up the whole deal so choosing the target wisely is paramount.

Good luck squatting /diy/

>Not possible in such a relatively small amount on a time scale shorter than 50 years. Especially not without riskin

I have made several purchases that ended up as 1000% return on investment. It is uncommon for me not to double my money. I was thinking about the gove liquidation tires but I did not want to do that much work for it. Someone is going to make a good little score on them.

OP my advice is find bankrupsy auctions preview the lots in person, take inventory, research prices and how often the items sell then buy up the shit that's easy to sell. Avoid the odd ball stuff and old computers, monitors, and copiers, new oem toner is ok.

I once bought two brand new in the crate vacuum pumps for 7k each new they where 116k each... I still have them even tried to sell them for < 7k. Some shit is hard as fuck to move.

On the other hand you sometimes get great deals on odd stuff. I got 350 rolls of uncured rubber tape for $56, I sell each roll for $7.50 + shipping. I've made $435 and still have 290 rolls left.
