how would i go about magnetizing a quarter/making a quarter sized magnet? could i just take a strong magnet and file it down to size, or will that mess with the strength of the magnet and metal? if you cant tell already, i like candy, and im jewish.

not sure if they make one or not & to lazy t look since i don't want one
but you might try a magic supply shop
they may have a metal quarter for use with a "PK Ring" that you could magnetize

i cant find a magnet thin enough. they are all just a tiny bit wider than the quarter. can someone point me in the right direction?

What did you need it for op? Magnetic tape/strips what ever you call it is pretty thin but not very strong.

So...OP's trying to make a quarter that gets stuck to the inside of the machine, making it unusable FOR ALL TIME?

Just order a key for the machines, get all the quarters AND all the candy.
