Anyone know how to make a cheap Air Purifier?
I get an over-average amount of dust in my room and cat hairs that float about annoy the fuck out me, no matter how much I comb the cat and help shed his fur the fluffy fucker still has his hair floating everywhere.

Help. I don't want to shell out a lot for an air purifier, they're expensive.

yes

in the scheme of things hair is easy to filter out, it's big... it's the tiny sub micron dust thats hard to get.

Make a cyclone filter with a computer fan and batteries. Computer fans run no matter how gunked they get and spin at the rate required to prevent crap from getting to the bearings. Some super-science they put into them fans I tell ya.

The bulbs put out UV rays, and can blind you if you look at them.

Not available in Lithuania either. Can't find filters.
Can't find anything DIY-friendly in fact.
