I'm making a scale TARDIS(about 14 inches tall). I'm nearing completion of the project, and I'm trying to make it light and make the swooosh swooosh sound, on the push of a bottom

Does anyone know of a way to achieve this? I have no knowledge of circuitry.

Modify a cheap mp3 player to do the job. That is, add an external play button and a loudspeaker. Shouldn't be impossible even if you know nothing about electronics.

alright sounds good, I was wanting to avoid that, since it'd have to be on at all times.

Go to your local bargain store.Find a cheap-ass ray-gun toy or something that makes a similar noise and lights up. Take apart the toy, put the mechanism in your tardis model.

Maybe one of those recordable greeting cards, just record the sound on it and stick the innards inside the Tardis and some kind of switch to activate it
