So I finally got a job, it's nothing grand but I'm damn glad to have it. I was told to wear the same clothes I had during my interview+ a bow tie. Problem is I have none.

I have been to nearly every store in town (don't have a car so I have to bike everywhere) and nobody has any. Going to try a few last ditch places tomorrow but I start Friday.

What are my options for crafting a bow tie?

Just ask them for a bow tie. If you have to wear a bow tie, it is obviously a service job. They know damn well a bow tie is not in a normal person's wardrobe, and they can help you get one. I know you don't want to look bad, but just deal with it.

Check out a thrift store. If you really can't find one, ask your boss or one of your co-workers to borrow one temporarily and then order online.

I want to dig with that thing.
