Mine are pretty general lifehacking stuff, some of it inappropriate for this board.

A friend got internet for three years that way, so yeah I'd say it works. Was relatively uninterrupted too, and it was impossible to find a single signal before. There's also a method with a can, but this looks better imo

Perhaps it's the type of bottle you're using.

Anyone got any more infographics?
Thanks OP.

I use these to cook while camping, but I skip the ring inside and only cut the hole in the top about 1/4 inch. I've found about 5 holes is about ideal and they're smaller than in the picture. 1/2-3/4 inch high for the top and the bottom is enough for a package of ramen and it helps to stretch the bottom one out with a full can before trying to fit the other inside. I burn methanol (yellow heet) in them, just make sure not to get any of it in the food. It helps to light the middle, then stick a coin over the hole and wait until you hear it boiling before putting anything cold on it to cook.

The battery is to soften the cut edges, you can see it at 2a. You can use the marker anyway.

five minutes maybe? I haven't timed it but long enough to boil this size pan of water and rice or noodles or something, covered. I just sit the pan right on top but you have to be careful to pour the water in a little bit at a time so it doesn't get too cold and put the fire out.

I normally roll it from the top down, but that can tear the bag. Switching now to roll from the bottom up, but I want to eat the crumbs and not need to unroll it!
