It's a shitty bed but I can't throw it away (literally can't- don't ask just accept.) so my solution was to get another shitty bed and put it on top of the first. Now the 1st provides both computer/tv pillow couch, and under-bed storage.

But there are wooden slats across the bottom and I don't think they were meant to take the weight of my entire ass across one beam, as happens when I sit at the computer.

What do you guys think? Likelihood of my fat ass breaking the bed using it this way?

Oh and I literally JUST moved everything, hence the random items still on the floor and table (knocked off of shelves etc as I attempted to lift a mattress above my head)

Real easy fix dude - where the slats are laid under your mattress, just lay and old blanket cut to size over them, followed by a piece of scrounged plywood, like wise cut to size. Once your mattress is back on top, the weight will be far more easily distributed, so you should be fine. At a pinch, even laying flattened cardboard boxes roughly the right size would afford some measure of reinforcement. Hope that helps.

It will hold your weight for a while but my advice is to triple support that particular board and double support the two on either side. The frame counts as your first support. You can use what >>538555 said as your secondary support, but for the main-use board I'd suggest putting something like cinderblocks or a wooden bench underneath.
