Hey IM A NOOB!!! and i need some help to make me not noob like... i just got a adfruit motor shield for an arduino uno. but cant program it.. attached is the program i made in modkit. but cant put it on the shield. plz help!!

>> No.532399

Now I'm no expert on Arduino specifically, but don't shields simply attach on top of the Arduino Uno through its regular pins? Wouldn't that mean that the program you compile goes onto the Uno instead of the shield?

Why are you programming in scratch?

That is correct. Shields just extend the hardware and aren't programmed directly, just operated.

That's the problem with your lazy ass noobs.

Instead of spending the time to learn circuits, C, and how to use an actual MCU, you waste your time on BS you won't learn anything from.

The code for that implementation would be about 30 lines of code, a PWM output and a few GPIO.

Arduino just screams retard.

well can u teach me then?

Send it all back, get a refund, buy some simple electronics kits instead.

Heh

Scratch is pretty fun when you try to do something that the program itself is too limited, and you need to look for roundabout ways to do it.

You would still need a start block and id rather make those only if button pressed and no else blocks.
