hello /diy/, a Canadian here. I'm building a hunting shack for birds this autumn.I'm living in a small city that has a pretty harsh winter. I need some ideas for items that i can salvage nearby to make the shack a bit more comfortable. The only things i could think of so far are using some fallen fences to build or grocery carts for chairs.

Stop bumping. It's a slow board, your thread will be around for a while. Sage because I have no ideas for you.

waste oil burner
all you need is a blow a steel shot glass a metal bucket some copper tube like for an ice maker and some furnace cement

let the oil drip through the copper line onto the red hot shotglass you preheated with a torch and will have a fucking fire so hot you might want to just have it outside

You could build a stove out of plenty of things and add a water tank around the chimney to heat water.

You can turn any kind of wood into shelves, benches, tables, chairs etc.
