seeing your picture gave me an epiphany, OP. The saxamaphone is the fedorafag of musical instruments. Kids aspire to be them/play them because of a misconception of what's cool. In reality, women are creeped out by them, they're embarrassing to be around, they take seldom work the way someone expected them to, and they smell funny and are covered in drool.

Listen to the big 70s and 80s hits with sax solos in them. It's like the actual band parts ways for "Mr. Blazer + Fedora Combo" to honk for a while. It's like they're literally saying "ugh, fuck. I'd think learning any of the woodwind instruments would be the most difficult to do, especially on your own, but I've never tried.
