Well, I can't say about the clothing. However, I have a papercraft file to make a full sized shield and sword.
They come off the template someone made for a full sized Link. You'll need a printer and a lot of cardstock...probably already colored if you don't want to waste 10 ink cartridges.
Papercraft isn't for heavy use unless you reinforce it with stuff to make the paper stronger, but if anyone's interested I can upload the template.

It's kinda complicated.
First you have to have Hylian blood.
Then your friends have to be murdered by Ganon.
After that you should have a voice in your head or a wise old elder telling you to go fetch some mystical macguffin.
Once you've done that, you can usually just ask them for the outfit.
Finding the Master Sword is a little more complicated, but you should be able to handle it.

Ha, I was actually Link for Halloween. I made the costume last year for a convention.

The tunic was handmade by my girlfriend from a pattern found at any fabric/craft store. The hat was eyeballed pretty simply from the excess matarial. We found a dickey at a thrift store. I started making chain mail, but I didn't finish it in time for the convention, unfortunately.

Go google "Life Size Link". Someone made a papercraft Link with Shield and Sword. But you can get both by themselves, and a Link Hat w/ Hair.
