I'm looking into making some alcohol for a party. A decent amount of it. Is there any guides that anyone has made that go through the process of making it? Also what is the punishment for getting caught making it?

Well, what type of alcohol? Hard liquor? Or beer/wine? What country do you live in?

Here in USA, I've got about 20 gallons of beer, mead, and cider I made myself and its completely legal as long as I brew less than 200 gallons a year (100 if you are single I think.)

I live in the united states. Is it only illegal when you distill it or what?

Yeah. There's a limit to how much non-distilled you make, but nobody enforces or listens to it so no worries there.

Alright so do you have any recipes for cider and/or mead?

Do you have a year to wait for the mead to ferment?

"looking into making some alcohol for a party" makes it sound like he wants to make it in about a week.

good luck.

I've made some party punch from fruit cocktail, spare fruit bits, sugar, and champagne yeast. It was pretty cash for a 5 gallon yield after fermenting for 8 weeks. It was Racked and then carbonated in larger bottles - very tasty. Maybe 8-10% ABV in the end.

Do you have money?
Do you want to get drunk in style?
Do you have tastebuds?
If you answered "no" to all these questions, I may have just the right thing for you:
Kilju
Simply mix sugar, water and yeast in a bottle, slip a balloon over the top and wait a few weeks.
Remember to sterilize everything that comes in contact with the kilju, or the results may be disgusting in other ways than intended.

This is oversimplified. You need a rubber stopper and an air lock, or it will burst. I recommend getting these supplies from labelpeelers.com. They have the cheapest supplies, just be sure to sanitize your equipment. Also, one of those gallon containers with a grommet lid.

Wine is very easy to make, but it will take a few months

>> No.387954

depends on how much you make. Gallons will take months. A liter will take 2 weeks.

Do people actually call it that?
Anyway I make this, and it's actually not that bad. And if I put that pre-sweetened drink mix shit in it it becomes something I can actually drink over a period of time instead of something to hold my nose and binge on.

8/10 would recommend to poorfags/underageb&. 2 cups of sugar per gallon, just put a package of yeast in it doesn't matter too too much.
