Be careful when choosing your smoke bomb mixture - If there is not a large enough exhaust vent, the pressure will cause the container to explode.

I never really considered the danger in things like this until friend of mine died in an accident sorta related. We were firing fireworks through a diy 'launcher' of sorts, basically just a collection of steel pipes rigged to channel the exhaust. We'd used it for a couple years without incident until it fatigued catastrophically and blew up in my buddy's face. He caught more than a dozen pieces of shrapnel in the face and neck and bled out before an ambulance could make it. We buried him in July of this year.

Just a word of caution to all, play it safe /diy/.
