Hiding stuff in fence posts is known to be discreet. I have $50 bills sealed in envelopes which have been waterproofed by being dipped in wax, hidden in fence posts and the within the plastic covers used to protect the cables that hold up power line poles. This is in case I need to leave the country and am not able to bring anything with me when leaving home.
