Hey /diy/ , decided to make a shlongboard, I'm painting the deck.

Anyone care to help me out and share some stencils?
Also, is it worth using fibreglass layers?

Just paint it by hand. That's what I did. Lot more fun.

Take a pic of the shlong you made.

YES fiberglass reenforced would deff be the way to go, flexible and strong. especially if u just put all that work into pressing your own board! some sector9's have fiberglass layer on bottom and sides.
>hand paint
will end up chipping and flaking from flex.
air brush or rattle can that beast

If you do use fibreglass, do it right. The first time I made one I did something wrong with the fibreglass and it delaminated after a couple of hours.

Was planning on using a spray can for it.
I'm using a £20 board (shitty i know but idc) just wondered if it's worth fiberglass-ing it.
And I mainly ride just to get from place to place with my cruiser but plan to ride on some mountain roads around birmingham.

I'll try to!

don't use fiberglass unless you're heavy or like a stiff board. also i would worry that because the two substances flex differently that they'd break apart over time. most of the time when wood is laminated with glass it's not flexing as much as a longboard.

Just get some acrylics and go to town, OP. That's what I did.
Pic most excellently related.
