How big is your panel?
I was thinking of electrifying my trike and going on a "grand tour". I could get four batteries and alternate charging via a solar trailer. I live in Canaderp and would probably go through the states anyway, so the actual amount of sun shouldn't be an issue.

The fuck did you expect? A 500W panel puts out maybe 50-100W if it's overcast. That's why you use solar batteries or grid "storage".

Yeah you need a lot. I have 1700w of panels and on a sunny day I get at most 36 amps of charge. I should need 120amps but solar panels just suck.
