Anyone ever prints circle on anet a8 and finds it' not circle enough? Picrel is the result and i ve placed it on other circle of the same file and printed on other printers and they match
But somehow it misses like 1 mm diameter i guess. Either that or the guy has cylindrical eyes or something

What do i do to... "make it more circle"?

you have bad belt tensioning. install belt tensioners on x and y axis, there are STLs on thingiverse

read the book "How Round is Your Circle?" and it will answer every question you ever had in your entire life

I've been meaning to check out that book. Kind of a metrology nerd, read quite a few books on the geometry of roundness and they always seem to kind of gloss over the subject. At best they'll talk about lobing and name the different kinds of circularity errors, but they never really go all the way down the rabbit hole of proving circularity/roundness from scratch. I did some rough calculations once to see how many V-block measurements it would take to guarantee the geometry of a 2 inch diameter, 1 foot long cylindrical shaft down to a maximum radial error tolerance of like 0.001", and it was a ridiculous number (like 1000+ individual measurements) involving at least three angles of V-blocks. There's gotta be a better way.

Nah this is about 3d printing supposedly. Thighten the belt?

I don't think you have the capacity to fix this

... i am almost very glad i am hearing this but the other person has a bad eye and would take nothing but yes because he has a8 plus that "feels more circle" and he also is the chairman's secret gay partner...
What do i tell him? I even compared the result and it only has like' minor 1 mm deviation. I tried making the machine tighter and cut the zipties he put but i fear it ll still be not "circle" enough and he ll sue me out for no good reason, and also win, because of his bad eye, i guess.

>and cut the zipties
No you didn't. If you cut the zip ties in that picture then the printer would not work at all because those are holding the end of the belt in place.

Agree. Now what do ido to make this man happy

You need to find a different line of work, preferably one that requires less intelligence to perform.

Too late i have too much begging customer.

But i agree, this line of work has too little intelligence in it... even 4chan s diy finds it beyond its capacity
