Does anyone have the instructions for cutting a book to make it a discreet hiding place?

In what way? Just cut out parts of a page with a stanley knife and keep doing it until you have a hole in it.

You could also try messing around with the back of hard covers so make it so you can shove paper things down between that piece of paper that lines it.

The instructions I saw before were really intricate and utilized glue to keep the pages together. I just want it for tips.

If you read that then you already know...

They dilluted some glue with water so that it would go on clear then pasted the outside of all the pages and left to dry

Open er up and cut out your cavity

Repeat the glue rub on the inside

Done

You guys gotta learn how to use your brains for a lot of this shit. That's half the fun of /diy/
