pirate multisim and scherz's practical electronics for inventors. read the book, play around in the simulator to understand what it's telling you. simulators are terrible and buggy and don't perfectly match reality. but you'll have a ton of retarded misconceptions about how electrons work that you'll have to dispel before you can care about parasitic capacitance or such things.
