Old small IKEA cabinet fridge's door won't close. I thought it might have to do with the fridge feet not being adjusted properly, but even if I adjust them so the fridge is basically leaning back the door still won't close. If I press it shut it springs back open as soon as I let go.
I removed the hinges to see if they could be adjusted but I didn't see any screws on them.
Replacement hinges for this model can be a bit pricy ( 30+ €) and this fridge isn't my primary one, it's just sitting around.
Any advice on troubleshooting / fixing this kind of problem?

Cleaning the fridge will help.

see that black thing on the end, adjust it - if it doesn't work buy new hinges.

Yeah I forgot to apologize for that, but it hasn't been used in years. Obviously if I get it to work I'll clean it properly.

I'm not exactly sure how I'm supposed to adjust a spring though. I tried fiddling with it before but it seems quite firmly lodged where it is.
And maybe isn't even the hinges, maybe it's the gasket.
