Ok fellas. This is starting to get annoying. I need some hoses. I just bought two supposedly industrial grade goodyear hoses from home depot. These were the heaviest duty ones they had in stock. I've had them 3 weeks and one already has a slice clean through it. Its literally being used as a garden hose, aside from some sticks and very few rocks there is nothing even remotely sharp nearby. I bought this particular hose to replace a medium duty hose that I had for 2 months before it bubbled from the heat like it was melting and then exploded.

I live on a farm. I need a good hose to give my animals water. What the hell do I need to look for to get a hose that is going to not be low quality garbage.

Best hose I've owned. Not lying, got it for free from a friend and thought it would be a piece of shit but it works great

I just buy a hose when they are on sale because they all die from uv rays for me.
The white ones maybe last a little more than the greeen

Guys, don't forget to use a blowout adapter to remove water before it starts to get cold.

you need reinforced rubber suction/delivery hose. it won't resist a hungry goat or a lawnmower, but it makes 'garden hose' look like a paper straw.

That's a nice one. If you don't mind me asking, how much did she set you back?

You probably just got one that got cut when someone opened the box and you just noticed now. Return it and get a new one.

I've had 100ft goodyear and continental hoses for 12+ years, never had an issue.
Must be operator error anon.

We're owned three. Bought one and the other two were replacements. They can't handle high pressure. After a few months each one got a bulge right after where it connects to the spigot. These were used for a simple sprinkler so they were on for several hours a week but no being moved much. Still failed.

Op unless you live far north just rent a trencher and run some pex underground with a spigot... will save time in the long run and won’t even be that expensive
